And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;
[The] [covenant] which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac.
"I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear [allegiance].
"For I have sworn by Myself," declares the LORD, "that Bozrah will become an object of horror, a reproach, a ruin and a curse; and all its cities will become perpetual ruins."
The LORD of hosts has sworn by Himself: "Surely I will fill you with a population like locusts, And they will cry out with shouts of victory over you."
The Lord GOD has sworn by Himself, the LORD God of hosts has declared: "I loathe the arrogance of Jacob, And detest his citadels; Therefore I will deliver up [the] city and all it contains."
The oath which He swore to Abraham our father,
For the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.
For if those who are of the Law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise is nullified;
For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself,
saying, "I WILL SURELY BLESS YOU AND I WILL SURELY MULTIPLY YOU."
