Luke 6:13-16
And when day came, He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as apostles:
Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew;
and Matthew and Thomas; James [the son] of Alphaeus, and Simon who was called the Zealot;
Judas [the son] of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
Matthew 10:2-5
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Him.
These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: "Do not go in [the] way of [the] Gentiles, and do not enter [any] city of the Samaritans;
Mark 3:13-19
And He went up on the mountain and summoned those whom He Himself wanted, and they came to Him.
And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He [could] send them out to preach,
and to have authority to cast out the demons.
And He appointed the twelve: Simon (to whom He gave the name Peter),
and James, the [son] of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (to them He gave the name Boanerges, which means, "Sons of Thunder ");
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Zealot;
and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him.
Mark 6:7-13
And He summoned the twelve and began to send them out in pairs, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits;
and He instructed them that they should take nothing for [their] journey, except a mere staff-- no bread, no bag, no money in their belt--
but [to] wear sandals; and [He added], "Do not put on two tunics."
And He said to them, "Wherever you enter a house, stay there until you leave town.
"Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them."
They went out and preached that [men] should repent.
And they were casting out many demons and were anointing with oil many sick people and healing them.
Luke 10:19
"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.
Matthew 10:1
Jesus summoned His twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
