The following are some significant truths about our Lord and Savior that we should give thought to as children of God (Romans 8:16; Gal. 3:26; 1 John 5:2);

He was born that we might be born again (John 1:11-14; John 3:1-8; 1 Peter 1:18-23).

He became poor that we might become rich (2 Corinthians 8:9; cf. Philippians 2:6-8; James 2:5).

He took on the form of a servant that we might become sons (Philippians 2:5-8; cf. Romans 8:13-17; Gal. 4:6-7; cf. 1 John 3:1-2).

He was to sin that we might be made righteous (2 Corinthians 5:21; cf. Isaiah 53:4-5; Romans 4:13-25).

He had no home that we might have a home in heaven (Matthew 8:20; John 14:1-3).

He was bound that we might be free (John 8:32-36; Romans 6:8-17; Romans 8:2; Gal. 5:1).

He died that we might live (John 3:16-17; John 5:24-25; Gal. 2:19).

 Knowing the sacrifices that our Lord made for us, let us willingly offer sacrifices before God that are pleasing to Him.
